What is a Demo Reel?

A demo reel is a short edited video/film with the purpose to showcase an individual’s many talents and/or previous work, for potential employment within the industry. It’s a great opportunity for casting directors to see all of your potential through a quick reel without having to audition face-to-face!

Join us the week of July 25 -28 from 12pm – 2pm, and July 29 from12:00-4:00 in discovering how to take your audition materials to the next level.

What can YOU expect

Each Demo will include:

– Slate

– Two contrasting scenes

– All scripts are professionally produced material

All demo’s will be professionally coached and edited. A link will be provided for each student to upload to various casting websites such as: Actors Access or Casting Networks.

The curriculum will include understanding of how to prepare for a self tape & recordings, knowledge of what to wear on camera, scene – partner techniques, blocking, camera frame work and so much more.

Let's showcase YOUR talent this summer!

Ages 10 and up are welcome to attend the week

He will be showing you the techniques he uses to come up with voices that are unique and fun to individual cartoon characters and have you use your newly created voice to act out a scene, giving you notes and strategies on how best to remain realistic and elevate your performance from a silly voice into a usable and believable character. You’ll hear all about his experiences in making cartoons and by the end feel confident in taking on auditions and roles in animation!
